Community Mental Health Programs – North Lanark/North Grenville
Community mental health programs provide a variety of services to help support people who have ongoing mental health issues living in the community.
Children & Families

Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville
Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of children, youth and their families. No professional referral is required. Children 12 and over may self-refer. Our programs are free, accessible, and confidential.

Kemptville Youth Centre
The Kemptville Youth Centre is a non-profit organization with a mission to engage youth in making positive life choices in a socially accepting environment to reach their full potential as responsible productive citizens. Our doors have welcomed over 400 youth per year, keeping them safe, engaged and off the street.

Wellness Access for Youth
The Mental Health and Addictions Health Hub for Children and Youth in North Grenville, now known as WAY, is a collaborative made up of service providers who provide, refer, and support mental health and addictions services for children and youth aged 12 to 25 years of age in North Grenville. The overall goal of WAY is to increase access to safe, efficient, effective, timely and equitable integrated mental health and addictions services for children, youth and families living in North Grenville.

Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health
Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health offers services and programmes to people who are experiencing addiction or mental health issues.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Fellowship which employs a 12-step program for alcoholics – holds nightly meetings in various locations within the Kemptville area
Smart Recovery
SMART Recovery is the leading, evidence-informed approach to overcoming addictive behaviors and leading a balanced life. The program is stigma-free and emphasizes self-empowerment.
Smart Recovery Friends & Family
SMART Family and Friends is a program for people who are affected by someone else’s substance use or addictive behaviours. The program is based on evidence-informed tools and approaches that help participants improve communication, set boundaries, and reduce stress.
Domestic Violence

Leeds & Grenville Interval House
Leeds and Grenville Interval House provides emergency shelter, outreach counseling and transitional support for abused women and their children throughout the Leeds & Grenville area. We offer accommodation, counseling and a 24-hour crisis and support line for women in distress.

Naomi’s Family Resource Center
Provides confidential, safe and secure emergency shelter for women with or without children who have been physically, emotionally, sexually or financially threatened or harassed in the Stormont, Glengarry and Dundas Counties of Ontario Canada.
We also offer informal counselling and 24-hour crisis line for Eastern Ontario.

Victim Services Leeds and Grenville
Our vision is to respond to the needs of victims in a time of tragedy or distress in a timely and effective manner. Our goal is to provide opportunities for empowerment, support and connections with a person’s community. We are committed to responding to others in a respectful, ethical, honest and professional manner. Sexual Violence

Assault Response and Care Centre of Leeds and Grenville
We provide services to women, children, teens and men who have been victims of or affected by sexual assault and/or domestic violence. We provide non-judgmental, compassionate, trauma informed care. Your privacy and wishes are respected by our team. Our goal is to assist you in your healing journey any way that we can. We advocate for a future without violence.

Queer Community

NG Pride
We are at a community-based, volunteer run not for profit 2SLGBTQIA+ organization providing education, advocacy and community building events to North Grenville. NG Pride was formed after Kemptville’s inaugural 2019 parade.

North Grenville Rainbow Youth Alliance
The North Grenville Rainbow Youth Alliance mission is to create a safe space where all 2SLGBTQIA+ identifying and questioning youth can come together to foster friendships, experience creativity and gain confidence in themselves. This is a space where they can be 100% their authentic selves without the fear of judgment or bullying from others.
