Mission

The Kemptville Stress Relief Centre will achieve its Vision through community-oriented programs that include: developing accessibility through multiple sources, partnering with complementary organizations, and furthering social justice initiatives. We will provide mental health services through a multi-disciplinary team of trauma-informed practitioners who are: held to high professional standards, communicate frequently, and are passionate, committed members who want to grow, take risks, be innovative, and bring their own visions for how to support the business and the community. We will maintain our focus on the clients we serve by living our values, connecting with each person, and listening to their input so we can adapt our offerings to meet their needs.

Meagan Cumming,

Meagan accompanies people who have experienced trauma (ex. childhood abuse and/or neglect, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, etc.) on their journey to heal, move forward, and build a meaningful life.

Charles (Chuck) LeBlanc,

Chuck provides general counselling and specialized in working with men and adolescents who experience anxiety, social awkwardness, and depression who are sick of being held back by stress, who want to stop bottling up their emotions…

Shannon supports adult individuals to identify and work through what has been getting in the way of living a life aligned with one’s hopes, wishes, and values. She works with couples facing a wide variety of issues…

Lindsay Abrames,
MA, RP, RYT

REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Lindsay creates a compassionate space for young adults and adults to get to know themselves better as they navigate stressful life situations, anxiety, and depression. She supports individuals to evaluate their relationship with substances or other problematic behaviors.

Sydney Maharaj-Nicholson

REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)

Sydney guides people with compassion and empathy to develop their strength and resiliency in the face of life’s challenges and stressors. Sydney collaborates with individuals and adolescents seeking support expressing their authentic self, and individuals from blended families.

Meagan Cumming

MA, RP, RYT

Meagan has been the CEO of the Kemptville Stress Relief Centre since 2020. She owns and operates the clinic, supports her diverse clients, supervises the centre’s interns, and is actively involved in the community by sitting on various boards and volunteering her time to events and causes that reflect the clinic’s values.

Shulamit Ber Levtov

MA, RSW, CCTP

Shulamit is the founder of the Kemptville Stress Relief Centre, established in 2017 as Compassionate Support for Stressful Times.

She works with women business owners who want to develop, implement and be accountable for their mental health plan, so they can lay the foundation for sustainable success and show up fully as their CEO-self in their business.
